Звездчатые пеларгонии

Звездчатые пеларгонии или стеллары, как их называют любители пеларгоний, что известно о них?

Звездчатые пеларгонии, это растения с листьями и цветками звездчатой формы. Два верхних лепестка узкие и вильчатые. Они мельче, чем три нижних, у которых зубчатые края. Высота растений от 25 до 30 см. Их вывел австралийский цветовод Тед Бот, который использовал для этого малоизвестный сорт — китайскую кактусоцветную «Fiery Chief». Первые звездчатые пеларгонии поступили в Европу из Австралии в 1960-х годах, и до сих пор возникают все новые и новые сорта. Среди них белые, розовые и красные культивары, некоторые из них двуцветные, простые и махровые. У многих листья с цветным пятном, у иных — такие большие зоны, что коричневая часть занимает почти всю поверхность листа.

Золотолистные сорта пеларгоний

В книге Миа Эссер «Пеларгонии» для золотолистных сортов нет отдельной темы. Они упоминаются в теме «Пеларгонии с причудливыми листьями» как пеларгонии с «золотисто-пестрой листвой».

Очень интересная подгруппа, особенностью которой является цвет листьев: салатовый, желто-зеленый с зоной и без зоны, и эта зона может быть разной формы и размера. Золотолистные сорта встречаются среди зональных, стелларов и других групп пеларгоний.
